ABOUT ME

get to know me…

Hi, I’m Mia! At my core I’m just a girl who loves photography, fashion, and football. I have a rescue chihuahua named Phineas and two kitties named Gus & Olive. I’m a Sagittarius, Enneagram Type 4, and an ENFP… which should tell you that I’m very much an extravert and a free spirit, I heavily rely on my intuition for guidance, and I’m simply not me without art and creativity.

First and foremost, I’m a performer. That’s how I see and interact with the world around me. From the time I was a little girl up until college, I was on a competitive dance team and did musical theater in high school—I’m constantly dancing and singing my way through life. The world is my stage.

After a lifetime of watching my mom build her photography career and assisting her with photoshoots, I dove into photography in college and eventually started a photography career of my own. I studied documentary photography in Paris and had an incredible seven years of photographing clients. It was one of the great joys of my life.

In 2022, when my younger brother got drafted to the Detroit Lions, I took my photography and performance knowledge and dove head first into the social media sphere. Shifting my focus towards sports/entertainment was a breath of fresh air and I am now the full-time social media manager for my brother and for our family’s motivational lifestyle brand, The House of Hutch.

My family has always been big on giving back. My mom always said that if me or my siblings ever got to the point where we amass a platform… well, that platform means nothing if you don’t use it for good. At The House of Hutch, we share stories of the most inspiring children we meet in the hospital who, in the face of their battle with a life-threatening illness or physical challenge, can smile and keep fighting. They are our Hutch Heroes. Read their stories here.

Through our work with children, I feel a great sense of responsibility to help people, especially girls/women, who are lost and trying to navigate their way through life. My goal is to eventually use my own social media presence to inspire them to be unabashedly themselves and realize their worth.

Whether it’s behind the camera photographing the world around me, singing a song on stage, or simply exchanging stories with a stranger—you will get ALL of me. I am a very passionate person and I throw everything into the present moment.

Xoxo,

Mia
